There are some recipes that feel like a warm hug — and this Chicken Noodle Soup is exactly that. Whether you're fighting off a cold, feeding a crowd, or just craving something simple and nourishing, this recipe delivers classic comfort with rich flavor and creamy depth.
What makes this version special? A blend of sautéed vegetables, hearty egg noodles, and a creamy finish that takes it from traditional to extra satisfying. It’s the kind of soup that tastes like it simmered all day — but comes together easily on a weeknight.

Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
1 small onion, chopped
1½ cups carrots, diced
1 cup celery, diced
Two 32-oz containers chicken broth
1 tablespoon Chicken Better Than Bouillon
12 oz wide egg noodles
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon Nature’s Seasoning
3 cups cooked chicken (rotisserie works beautifully)

Instructions
Step 1: Build Your Flavor Base
In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, carrots, and celery. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften, and the onions turn translucent. This step builds the flavor foundation for the entire soup.
Step 2: Create the Broth
Pour in both containers of chicken broth and stir in the Better Than Bouillon. Bring everything to a gentle boil.
Step 3: Cook the Noodles
Add the wide egg noodles and cook for about 9 minutes, or until tender. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Step 4: Add Creamy Comfort
Stir in the cream of chicken soup, dried thyme, and Nature’s Seasoning. This is where the soup transforms into a rich, comforting bowl of goodness.
Step 5: Finish with Chicken
Add the cooked chicken and simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes, just until heated through.
Serve hot with crackers, crusty bread, or just a big spoon. Enjoy!
